Privacy policy

This website

This static website does not require accounts and does not run its own analytics or contact forms. Pages are served as plain files.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to serve ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at google.com/policies/technologies/partner-sites.

Affiliate links

Tool links go to Amazon. When you follow one, Amazon's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there, and Amazon reports qualifying purchases to us in aggregate so commissions can be paid.

The ClickTheFix app and WhatTheFix

The app is a separate service from this website. If you post a job through Find a Pro, the details you provide are shown to pros as follows: the job and your general area are visible on the pro board; your name, email, and phone are revealed only to the single pro who claims your job. If you register as a pro, the business details you provide are used to operate your pro account and process lead-fee charges; card details are handled by the payment setup in the app and only the last four digits are retained for display.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
